Ugh, I have the patience of a 12 year old school girl. Is this done yet?

I heard that the ECU's hardware is physically altered to achieve the flash. I don't think they broke any codes or encryptions. I see warranty issues lol. If anyone does do this, I would open that sucker up and take pics of everything before you send it to them.

There is NO physical mod to the hardware at all. But they do have to open the DME's and connect their equipment directly to the relevant chip in order to read the password. Don't try to open the DME at home. Tuners have said that the M5 DME is one of the toughest out there to open up... |

Customer already has the car back and the iND F10 M5 is at AMS now (with the upgraded turbos) I thought Eric from AMS was updating this thread. Here is the final dyno for the AMS tune (without the turbo upgrade).

Great numbers, but I feel like the stock engine components are not going to be able to take that level of additional stress. Is there any information on how this affects overall motor reliability in the long term?

I have been running a BR Performance remap since beginning of January on my car and it's been fantastic, if not a bit frightening in wet weather in MDM mode!

lol almost 500whp before 4k RPM and thats not accounting for turbo upgrades lol I don't see how something isn't going to break [although it really does mimic the alpha 9/p800 curve which has been quite reliable on the GTRs engine], may not the trans even if you get the clutch from dodson, but good lord I'll be speechless if the stock BMW gearing can take that kind of pounding with some level of reliability and again not accounting for added boost from turbos lol. I just don't see how something isn't going to give on stock internals with that kind of power down-low.

I believe its just a clutch kit probably to help it not slip the way the m4 ones do around 600whp... That wouldn't have any effect on how strong the gears are especially if you start making 700,800+whp and bringing it on hard and fast for stock 1-7 gearing.

Nope. Not one. It's been a great experience so far. I don't hammer my car though...well maybe sometimes!

What other mods does this car have? Down pipes, exhaust, cats or catless. Is this on pump or race gas.. was going to go for the e63 until this tune came out, but now I'm just waiting for m5 to drop a couple this and while I'll finish my m3
