Friendly heads up, your pricing is far too high for today's market. And I mean $10k at the absolute minimum too high.

Well, I appreciate the feedback, but just yesterday I was offered more than 45K (your "minimum suggestion") on TRADE IN for my car. Condition, Options, and the 6MT matter.

Before you suggest an over allowance on the trade in, know that i've spent several years in the car business and the trade value offered is an ACV (actual cash value), from a personal friend.

I appreciate the feedback, but my response is simple. If you don't like the price, you don't have to buy it. There are certainly cheaper options available, but not many this clean or well optioned. It took me almost a year to find.

I’m sorry to tell you this, but it is overpriced. I too know one or two tricks about car sales. I purchased my 2015 fully optioned with CP and full wrap for 55500. I purchased it in January 2018 with 26K miles. Anyone on this forum will know the true price of 2013 M5. You can always find a sap that would buy your car for what you are asking, but I’m afraid you may not find it here. This meant no disrespect.

You may want to include pictures of the car for sale, miles etc.

"know that i've spent several years in the car business".
Been in the business for several years but lists a car for sale with not one pic and does not list miles or any indication of service history.
Ok then.

Hey guys,

I guess I caused quite an uproar here. Sorry for my lack of replies, I was in the Bahamas and not thinking about cars.... I didn't post pictures because if someone wants them, they can ask and I can send them anything they want. I've had 3 people reach out and do exactly that. The car is perfect. As far as mileage, completely my mistake as I forgot to list it. The car has 46K miles. Not by any means excessively low. I realize that.

The car is a manual transmission and has every option except for ceramic brakes. It's a hard car to find. I am not trying to rip anyone off or play any games. My comment about ACV was simply to say that I've been offered more than the value one user suggested, and I know that number is a real number, not a number that is inflated by discounting the car I would be buying.

I realize people have opinions about values, and I realize there are cheaper cars available. Maybe even identical ones. If that's the case, I understand why someone wouldn't buy mine. Having said that, I searched for a year to find a car with this equipment, in this condition. It's not an average M5, even with the miles on it. My asking price is an asking price. I am happy to entertain fair numbers with a seriously interested buyer.

Just tried posting pictures I took on my phone and they aren't the right size for the forums, so I guess I'll stick with my original plan.......If you want pictures, message me and you'll have them in 2 minutes.

Someone mentioned service history....

All service history is up to date, and if a buyer wants to take it to BMW, I'll do anything they say should have already been done. That should answer the service question.

Brakes are new Carbotech pads all around within the last 5,000 miles.

For all we know - the car has 19 miles on it. LOL.

But yes, whilst the 6MT will likely command a premium, your pricing is probably a bit high unless the miles are excessively low.

For what it's worth - I have been the managing director of a dealer group consisting of 20+ stores for 20 years and am a previous board member of TrueCar. The term 'ACV' is a baloney term coined in the industry and means nothing other than what a dealer is showing the consumer as a value for a trade in vehicle.
Actually, ACV is a term used by the dealer that stands for "Actual Cash Value" which is the internal number they use on trade-ins, not the number they show a client. You've got it backwards....Just as a friendly FYI....

One last comment before someone calls me out on it as being shady. I mistakenly typed that the car had a 122K MSRP. Fat fingers. I am not sure that is possible on an M5 from 2013. Mine was 112K if my memory serves me correct. I have the original build (but no window sticker) if anyone would like to see it.

I thought that these days MT is not in demand. Driving with MT in today’s traffic is a nightmare. I’m just saying.

A majority of people certainly prefer the DCT nowadays, as sales clearly show. I don't know the percentages, but I would guess north of 95% of new F10 M5's had DCT. In the last 12 years, only a fraction of M5's have been sold with a 6MT. Now you can't get them, and probably never will be able to again....

Having said that, there are some purists (or maybe just luddites) like myself who want to row through the gears and won't have it any other way. We've gotta work a bit harder (I had to pay a bit more) to find a car like this.....

Fair enough. Keep in mind though, it might be a bit harder to sell your car as there are limited number of purists as yourself out there who would buy such a car. Also, for some people cars are everything, but for others they just means of transportation.

not here to comment on price but I did buy a 14 with less mileage last year for close to this.. I have been on/off searching for a manual for 3 years that fit the bill. Also for numbers there were only 577 M5s of the F10 body style made for the US market in a 6spd, out of a total of 8k made. I don't plan on selling mine anytime soon and I know for the track it's stupid, and DCT is faster.. etc etc.. but I have a smile every time I get behind the wheel of this car and can row through the gears. #savethemanuals
