Which filter material works best for occasional drive in rain? What is the easiest way to access filters to clean?

Put a K&N filter sock around the filter if you're worried about rain. You can access them by literally just pulling the front kidney grills out.

Yes, easiest way...but his slots are a bit loose from in/out many times. Just give a good/solid/EVEN pull and they will come out.

Thanks for the tips! Does any one have a preference between paper or metal mesh gamma intake filters?
