Snap In Adaptor & RTTI Real Time Traffic

Hi all,

I'm the owner of an F10 BMW M5 Sport from 2014 and I've upgraded to latest software for the bluetooth module however when it connects to my Android running latest (v12) OS version, it seems the data transfer still takes place through the 3G in the car, rather than over the Bluetooth connection.

The ask:
Traffic updates happen over FM - TMC only, not RTTI Realt Traffic. Has anyone managed to find a solution with or without Snap in Adaptor that will enable the Navigation update the traffic in real time over the internet rather than TMC/FM radio? I see the Snap In adaptor from BMW which had also a phone - would buying a second SIM and one of that adaptor resolve the issue without a monthly subscription - I am not a fun of subscriptions.

Thank you in advance,
Centrum.
