Remote start

I'm curious as to how difficult this would be to code into the car, some mornings I want the car to sit for a few minutes before I get started driving and I'm just not able to

If anyone has any recommendations of where I can get this done and how much it would run me

You shouldn't be letting it sit to warm up ever.
This doesn't really answer the entire point of this post so I'm confused on your input on this, frankly there's nothing wrong with having your car warm up for 1-2 minutes especially with the heater on colder mornings :

It's well documented and suggested to never allow our platform to warm up for any considerable amount of time. Even 1-2 minutes. It does more internal engine damage than simply using the heated seats That's what the previous member was trying to say (in his own way, lol).

Warming up is imperative especially for F10 and even more so for the E60 V10 to allow oil to circulate all around the engine properly without load including the all important tight tolerance rod bearings. Any knowledgable technician will tell you that.

I would like to see some evidence or proof on this matter. Older turbo charged cars didn't have the technology as we do today. The cold start duration is all time you need to start driving. Warming up your car by letting it idle is simply a waste of gas in my opinion.

I do believe you should wait until the car gets up to operating temps before really getting on the gas pedal. Keep the revs under 3500 RPM until you get to operating temps.

My entire point was just getting past that initial 30 seconds to one minute of cold start

I never intend to leave the car idling past a minute or so I also believe in warming up the car along with all other components together, dct etc etc

And who doesn't like hearing their car start from the outside
