Antenna Booster?

Hi guys.

Has anybody fitted any sort of 4G/radio antenna booster in their cars?

I am getting some poor signal every now and then, especially over DAB stations and also my NAV is not so responsive.

I was wondering if some extra juice in the form of a booster would do the deed or do you reckon it would be simply another waste of money?

I would appreciate your thoughts/recommendations.

These tend to be a waste of time and money from my experience.

I had a shop install an mmi box and I use Apple CarPlay on the stock system. It also supports android auto. I wanted something that used the stock display to keep it looking more OE since I prefer it that way. There's also the option of buying a new unit that also has touchscreen.

These are more expensive options but well worth it imo.

actually i found out it is called diversity antenna...still working intermittently
