Only protein and preworkout for me as far as the supplements go, occasionally creatine. I use to take a shit load, every vitamin under the sun, all sorts of different shit for cutting weight blah blah and to be honest I feel loads better off all that junk. Waste of money. Just an opinion obviously

Diet, exercise, sleep.

I'm a little back as far as topic goes, difficult for me to keep up with the forum at the moment!

Man am I out of shape. Did 30 burpees last week and it literally made me have a cough for days, felt like I was going to pass out even. Felt so sick I had to go to bed...and of course the wife gave me crap about it haha. Use to be able to do over 100 no issues. I have an extremely physical job so not sure why that got me so bad. I have had some heart like issues but they can never figure it out, plus some odd wet like pain in my side for a few years. Makes me worried to start hitting the gym again, prefer not to die. Last year I was doing 265 on the bench, 330 dead lifts and same on squats. Almost thinking I should just work on some cardio for a bit and hit the weights very lightly, ideas? Btw I'm 31.

Legs feel wrecked. Did a ton of bb walking lunges. Followed by a plate loaded squat machine we have and extensions. Couos barely walk after.

Yeah just get some cardio in, no need to go crazy high intensity right off the bat with burpees like you did. Ease into it you'll be fine boss

Hopefully having a mass removed from my right hand this morning. Dislocated my ring finger bowling a few weeks ago and since have discovered a marble sized mass between the knuckle. Has made lifting a f'n nightmare for the past few weeks. Looking like cardio, legs and abs until this thing heals up.

Got on the scales this morning lost pound since Friday and body fat percentage is dropping according to plan. Should be able to start bulking sometime between 11/15 - 12/1. Getting stoked about it. Abs are starting to show nice and the "V" at my hips is getting more pronounced. A hard ass year of effort is starting to pay off.

I wnat to thank you guys for the motivation last night during my run.

First in over 2 months. Overall pace was down 30-40 seconds, but each split was relatively constant. Dropping those 10 lbs seems to have helped. Halloween 5K in 2 weeks, and then Santa to The Sea!

So I am loving the "bulking" thing so far. Dead-lifts this morning with 455lbs on my last 3 sets, last set of bent-over rows with 275lbs (I got 4 good reps) which felt light after the dead-lifts, Nautilus Pull-Overs with the entire weight stack, and finished it off with pull-ups with a 25lb plate hanging from my waist.

This morning weigh in - 211.8lbs. I'm putting away food like crazy, and starving all the time. Abs have slowly disappeared leaving me with a "4 -pack".

I feel strong as a bull in the gym. Will be looking for new shirts this weekend as my largest ones are now fitting me tighter than I like.

I'm going to give it hell until January...then start cutting very slowly and see where I land at. After this last time, I don't plan on going above a certain % of BF again as I know it will be harder to come off as I get older.

I just wanted one last run at it!

Untuckit is where I have a lot of my shirts from. I found they always fit across my upper body nicely, but be fitted in the waist area so I didn't have them bunch up with my belt on.

It's a crapshoot with clothes for me. Sometimes a large fits well, and in other brands it's to tight in some areas.....well to me anyway.

I hate anything restrictive. I always ask my wife's opinion before we go out if what I'm wearing makes me look like someone trying to get attention as that is what I'm trying to avoid.

The last thing I want is to look like one of those guys that wear a shirt two sizes too small.....and looks like they're carrying luggage because their arms are so far out from their sides.

Did chest/tri last night. Basically doubled the weight I normally use, and went from 10-12 reps down to 6-8. When I got done and was walking over to the pool, felt I had to relax because I seemed to be thrusting out my chest. Didn't want to be THAT guy

It felt GOOD to be that pumped. When I got home I managed to gag down a whole spoon of red beet-dirt. IT was actually a little clumpy since my son has gotten away from taking. Had to actually chew and then pick my molars. When have been MUCH better if it were Butterfinger instead.

I slept WELL last night!

Shoulders and arms this morning....you know the "showy" muscles.

My first exercise of any body part is multiple sets of heavy weight (at least 85% of max)...and then I gradually raise my reps until the last exercise which is very high rep and me just trying to get as much blood into the area as possible.

I walk into the gym now and feel it's too crowded. But I am getting there at about 4:00am.....when I used to get there between 2:30am-3:00am.

I am getting up at the same time every morning, but since I started my bulk I have been using some time to get my 1st meal in. I forgot how much more intense the pumps where after having a meal vs. training fasted like I had been doing.

Weigh in this morning was 212.1 lbs.

Taking a few days off fellows. Letting the body rest before going at it hard again

LOL.....And here I remember someone telling me a little over a month ago...."It's your vacation, forget about training"...or something to that effect!

I'm the same way. If I have a scheduled day off...it's usually just 1 as I can't do extended times away. I feel like I'm missing something.
