I (2013 45k) just paid the c790 for the 'pay upfront' '250 excess' 'continuation of existing warranty' type. I put some hypothetical miles in and it suggested if I had reached 60k it would have been about 2k a year. I couldn't fiddle to see the impact of not having continuous cover but was curious, it would have been nice to defer coverage for a few years, I don't drive hard and the car feels very reliable compared to previous brands. Mind you there is a white 2014 on ebay at the minute advertised as having been fitted with new engine and turbos '32k reciepts', not sure how that made me feel.

I have just taken out 3yr unlimited mileage warrenty with Warrenty Direct. Uncapped labour. I can use a fairly local BMW dealer for repairs also, that was actually recommended to me by them. Just over £400 covering engine, drivetrain and ecus etc. Does cover suspension, brakes or interior.
