M Performance (flat bottom) steering wheel.

It says that the steering wheel is for M3/4. Has anyone put this wheel on their M5?

... not to thread jack but does this wheel also offer the heat/driver assist option? I've heard it doesn't come with the heat option but I could be wrong.

I believe that the back of the wheel is different and it doesn't fit on the M5

M2, M3 and M4 can share steering wheels. M5 and M6 can share steering wheels. I've been looking around to upgrade my steering wheel as well to a carbon fiber one. Dinmann seems to be the most popular and creditable one: https://www.dinmann.com/products/cus...f06-f12-f13-m6

Does anyone have experience with Dinmann wheels (Pre LCI)? I'm considering this wheel but not sure if it maintains the heated wheel steering functionality. Seems like the M decal is not included either.

I've reached out to a few manufacturers and they've all said that heat and lane departure vibration doesn't work with the carbon fiber steering wheel

I have the carbon fiber trim package I don't want to go crazy with carbon fiber.
