For those who own Pre-LCI F10 M5's, there's another option for steering wheels

Saw this on a Facebook post today.

Looks like someone has figured out that a G11 steering wheel fits on the F10 steering rack. I assume that a G30 steering wheel may fit too. No word if all of the buttons still work, but I assume they do. Although the posted pictures are not of an M5, it should work fine on a Pre-LCI M5 too.

I do think it looks better than the Pre-LCI F10 M5 steering wheel though. May be worth giving it a try if your current Pre-LCI wheel is really worn out or you are just tired of it.

I'd prefer the LCI wheel. also sourcing an airbag is probably difficult too.

Sorry to say that, but mechanical dont fit.
G11 uses the same steering wheel as G30, G32, G14, G15, G05 a.s.o and all have a 48 theet stud for steering wheel.

F10 have 66 theet and a bigger diameter.

You have to make a bastard child from a F10 steering wheel backplate and a G30 steering wheel to fit it.

The comments are saying its not PIP like the video shows. Supposedly the splines are different? i dunno, looked like it went on fine and sturdy to me, some guy in the comments claims to have tried it on an F10 and it didn't fit properly.
