♛ ONEighty° NYC ♛ Cosmetic Customization SHOP ➨ ➨ Daily Log シ
Whats up guys,
Most of you know us for the custom headlights we build, but there is more to us than just headlights, and I figured I'd let you guys in on what happens at our shop on daily basis. I would like to share with you the vehicles that come to our shop, the types of parts and products that arrive at our location, and all the other cool shit we do here at ONEighty on daily basis. Brief description about us... ONEighty° specializes in detailed automotive lighting modification and exterior styling. New York City based and managed by three full time car enthusiasts, each with the skill to provide top of the line service and knowledge to automotive fanatics looking to improve their vehicle’s look and feel. Our work is based on customer’s value in form and function, to suit the needs of many different age groups, while providing mail order service to clients looking to get unique headlight modifications from all across the world. We take extreme pride in our work, and will go above and beyond to assure that our customers and clients are satisfied. We are constantly researching and staying up to date with the latest trends and styles, and will never recommend anything to a customer that either we, or true enthusiasts wouldn't approve of. Our specialty began with Infiniti & Nissan vehicles 6 years ago. When we moved to our current location 2 years ago and gained a great asset to our team, we began working on BMW. We now consider our selves BMW, Infiniti & Nissan specialists when it comes to basic modifications & styling upgrades. If you happen to see something in this thread that you don't like... its probably because we tried our best to convince the customer against it, and at the end, the customer always get what they want. We are located in Brooklyn, just a few minutes away from Coney Island, or the Belt Parkway. 2390 Mcdonald Ave Brooklyn, NY. 11223 ☏ 347.821.6176 Email: info@180custom.com All work is by appointment only, even if its a simple request. We are booked for days, sometimes weeks in advance. For us to retain a stress free work environment, we ask all customers to schedule an appointment, even for consultation. Our hours for operation are: M-F: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM SAT: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM SUN: CLOSED Here is a shot of the front of our shop: We're not huge, being in the heart of Brooklyn, rent is EXPENSIVE. Our space comfortably accommodates 2 vehicles that we can work on at a time. We also have a decent size showroom/office that will comfortably sit 4 people, with Verizon FIOS TV/Wifi & XBox. ============================================= Here is a list of what ONEighty can offer you.
Due to the size of our shop, we are committed to keeping a clean and tidy environment for our customers vehicles & our employees. We do not own a lift, so our mechanical services are limited to:
In some cases, intensive mechanical work is performed by techs who are qualified to work on BMW's, with over 20 years experience in German vehicles. If any work is outsourced, we will notify the customer, and assure them that the work is performed by qualified technicians who will guarantee outstanding work. We collaborate with some of the greatest people, and shops to provide the results we would only want for ourselves. We are extremely meticulous with who we work with to not jeopardize our excellent reputation which we worked so hard to maintain. We are dealers for some of the biggest brands in the industry and having established a great relationship with some many shops across the country, we can ultimately obtain any part you desire. We treat our customers like our friends, we'll bullshit with you, and only give you the best advice because we're car guys, just like you. My team consists of BMW owners, a LS2 V8 swapped G35 Coupe, and a S2000. When we have time, we drive & work on our own cars like the rest of you do. We attend meets & events all across the North Eastern region. We love what we do, and we're extremely passionate about it, we don't just do it for the money... its the passion for cars that brought us together, and built this shop from our bedrooms to where it is today. We're young, passionate, and ready to set new boundaries. Feel free to ask any questions in the thread, shoot me a Private Message, give us a call or shoot us an email. We try to respond ASAP. I'll make sure to keep this thread updated on daily basis, if its not with DSLR quality photos, it might be a photo straight off instagram because I wanted to provide a real time update. I'm not going to limit the thread to BMW only content, so you guys will also see the other vehicles we had the opportunity to work on. For starters though, I'll show you some of our recent BMW work, followed by other vehicles.
2013 BMW F10 M5 in Monte Carlo Blue This gorgeous Monte Carlo M5 came to us for some very basic exterior adjustments. The customer wanted to keep the vehicle as original as possible with some simple corrections which he felt should have came with from factory.

His idea was to remove anything that stood out on his car, which included chrome trim in certain areas, bumper reflectors, exhaust tips…etc. Everything was completely blacked out except the headlights & taillights. Paint work aside, we also installed;

This was one of our favorite projects, it also got featured on the front page of Bimmerpost (thanks )
Check out the details in the link below: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=867801 This BMW X6 got a complete ONEighty treatment as well. Originally Mineral Silver Metallic, wrapped in HEXIS Matte Black Vinyl along with other exterior items either painted, powder-coated or replaced in a mixture of gloss and matte black to accent against each other. This BMW was also treated with our custom ONEighty headlights to complete the vicious look our client desired. Some nice updates coming up this week, stay tuned !
In the mean time... I'd like to share some more information about our location, and one business in particular that we are affiliated with. Right next door to ONEighty is The Wash Experts, Brooklyn’s number one luxury hand wash, where you and your vehicle's cleanliness are their number one priority. Every member at The Wash has the same goal in mind: perfection. They strive to excel above and beyond the competition by offering you and your automobile a truly elevated level of service in their luxurious state of the art facility. Choose from one of their comprehensive hand wash packages which range from a basic exterior hand wash and hand dry package to a detailed exterior and interior hand wash and cleaning that covers vacuuming, pressurized air dusting, and more. While your car is being cleaned, enjoy refreshments & arcade video games in the waiting area, which is equipped with amenities such as flat screen TVs and free WiFi. At The Wash you can rest assured that your vehicle is being properly cared for by our expert staff, and with a floor to ceiling glass display overlooking our hand wash auto laundry you’ll have a front row seat to the show. From the newest chemicals and cutting edge techniques to their state of the art 5,000 square foot Brooklyn auto laundry, The Wash Experts cut no expense to ensure that your money is well spent. We have been personally doing business together since the day they opened their doors just a few months after we opened ours. Most vehicles that exit our gates, enter The Wash Expert's doors to receive the final prep work before the customer is reunited with his vehicle. We trust them with their service the same our customers trust us with ours. Even if your vehicle doesn't come through our gates, there's no reason you shouldn't get your vehicle pampered at The Wash if you live in Brooklyn ! The owner as well as his employees are extremely stand up guys, if you have any special requests, they will undoubtedly grant your requests. The owner being a car fanatic himself knows what the customers want, and that's the same service he would want for his own vehicle if he took it anywhere else. You can be rest assured that your vehicle will get the love you seek.
