Swapping DME sides?
Guys,
I am getting a weird issue with car which seems to be affecting passenger side bank of injectors. I wanted to try and figure if maybe the DME on that side is fried or something. Am I able to swap my DME across banks? Like put the left one on the right side and vice versa or are they different in some way? Thanks! |

No you cannot switch them after being programmed.
I would say check the harness first as some corrosion might cause that (First check if its seated correctly the do a continuity test to the injectors harness if all is fine, check if the DME is supplying voltage if no voltage then replace your DME). I had the same issue with my charge coolers pump, replaced them but the issue still there finally I decided to de-pin the terminal and here was the surprise.
