Maybe the heated seat malfunctioned and burned you and they gave you a new seat? Happened once to me in my x5 4.8is lol. Burnt right through the leather.

- You know you drive an F10 M5 when you straightpipe a 4-door family sedan.

- You konw you drive an F10 M5 when your friend listens to the Bang & Olufsen system for the first time and says that riding in your car is like being in a disco-teca.

was cruising down the interstate the other day when i noticed a state cop coming up quickly behind me. i slowed to 60 in a 55 and pulled into the right lane. he stayed in the left, and when he got near me, i lost him in my blind spot (i knew he was there b/c the light on my SVM was on). he very (very) slowly passed me and checked out my wheels and calipers, then drove off. never experienced that before.

so yeah, that's how you know you're in an M5.

..............when you drive round your block or the local shopping centre for endless amounts of time waiting for the "right" place to park and then take 10 mins to park just to make sure you reduce the risk of the door from the car next to you hitting yours when they open the door

.......then realise you have not reduced the risk and move out of a perfectly good spot, with your wife screeming at you, asking you what was wrong with the spot and you responding something like "it didnt feel right" or "the car didnt fit", even though you were just in the spot

.....then spend more time driving round looking for the "right spot".......the cycle goes on until your wife and kid jump out of the car and you meet them 1 hour later after satisfying yourself that you have parked "appropriately"

When you're slowing down to the traffic lights, see something like 28mph on the heads up display and flick the gear down into first then the throttle automatically blips causing there to be pops and crackles in the exhaust followed by a rev noise of engine braking. Scares the crap out of old women. Its bloody hilarious.
