My search hopefully ends with Carvana
Good Afternoon. After regretting selling my 2012 550 6MT - I have been searching high and low for the right 550 or M5 with a 6MT and we all know how that goes. Well logined on to Caravana today for the first time - i reserved a 2013 Space Grey with black interior 6MT (verified by vin search) with 47k miles for $37,000. Has anyone used Caravana? - they are shipping it to my house for free however its in NJ and I live in NJ. They are forwarding the pictures to me this week to review, seems like it was just posted yesterday. They claim to go through a decent inspection.
Thanks for any input. |

They are legit. Though make sure you inspect the car well and check for the service history when the drop it off and before you sign off on paperwork for receipt of delivery. You also have 7 days after you take delivery to return it (AFAIK).
I have 4 of my work colleagues use it within the past 24 months. Their only complaint is that the car is not always serviced or cleaned prior to delivery. For example, one had some pet hair on their third row. The other had a low tire warning show up the night they dropped off her car. All 4 found it got better deals versus local dealerships. They work through a trusted network on local used car lots / dealers. Good lunck.

Without pictures or service history it's hard to say for sure, but it sounds like a good/fair deal. I paid $41k for my 2013 6MT 13 months ago. Imperial Blue over Silverstone II interior, exec. package, B&O, full leather interior, 343M wheels.

Carvana has been great to me, they bought my old car as a trade-in and made the entire process very easy. As for the M5, personally I'd advise trying to find a LCI model, however if this is the only 6-speed one you can find, then I'd take it in any condition considering how rare tehy are.

Bought it with exactly 49k miles. Currently at 66k. I've done all the usual maintenance - spark plugs, all fluids changed or flushed. Other than that, the only problem I've had is the B&O amp lost the "bass" function so I had to replace it. I did the turbo coolant hoses and precat O2's as PM as well.

Even though I've never used it, I have a friend that has bought his last two cars from there, F80 M3 and '12 GTR. He's been pretty happy with his experience. He's recommended it for me as well but I found mine local.
As for the car itself; just check for service records and that everything functions correctly. I assume its this car: https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/1331299 |

Thanks. Got the car (not sure how to load pics)
Was very unhappy with the way it went down, car was dirty, issues were there that were not on the inspection report. Apparently they are looking into it...if it was not such a rare car and the color combo i have been looking for - I considered walking away. Such a shame as i was so impressed with their operation until the pickup. |

damn, sorry to hear that. They should take some money off the top or refund you something for your trouble. Take that $$ and get it detailed by a pro.

Hopefully they will step up and make it right so you can get on with enjoying the car. Congrats and good luck all works out. The good news is some new carbon fiber mirror caps will eliminate 2 of those imperfections and look damn nice!

I would hurry and have BMW plug into it for a diagnostic check for ecu tampering. if that car wasnt delivered in good condition I would be upset and not sign off at delivery. that's me though as they didnt take pride at their dealership

Update - So Caravana stepped up and is having the Silverrock warranty (good for 4000mls or 100 days) cover everything that went wrong at delivery...over $8000 at my local dealer. Very happy
New complete dashboard, rear rim, AC condenser, repaint rear bumper, and a key fob. $100 credit for a detail. |

I bought my '15 M5 CP from Carvana earlier this year and was very happy with the process. Purchasing the car was a breeze and the car was delivered professionally with all keys and books and water bottle and tumbler in the front cup holder. Right after I got the car I took it to get is inspected by a body shop for any accident and to the dealer to check the car and got thumbs up. The car was clean but did not have any professional detailing on it so Carvana paid to have the car fully detailed at a local shop of my choice. I would recommend them.

Also had a great experiance with Carvana, I bought my current F10 from them and everything was a breeze. My car was also pretty dirty when it showed up but they gave me a $150 to go get it detailed.
This was actually my second attempt at buying from them though. I tried in July and bought a gorgeous Interlagos Blue E60 M5 LCI, when they came to deliver they hadn't raised the E-Brake enough when it was parked on the truck so the car actually rolled off and landed on its Eisenman Race Exhaust tips. Needless to say I returned the car and waited for the F10 I actually wanted. Overall, had an awesome experience with Carvana definitely recommend it, if anybody is looking to buy a car from them I have those referral cards, PM me if interested
