I had mine done just recently at 86,000km.

My car has a build date right on 2014 and i was not sure if i needed EU5 or EU6 injectors. My mechanic used ISTA to determine she needed EU6.

While i was at it, i replace the coils and plugs as well as the injectors. She feels a lot more responsive now.

Will contemplate rod bearings at around 100,000km. I had the rod bearings changed in my charged E90 M3 at around 130,000km… they looked like they could have done another 100,000km. Its a small price to pay for peace of mind, though.

There is a filter in the LPFP in the tank under the back seat, I had to replace it. There isn't a way to replace the filter only, I couldn't see any way to open the sealed pump. US model, built Oct 2012(2013 model).
It sucks to replace, I highly advise you run the car to almost empty unless you like your hands in gasoline for an hour or 2.
I couldn't see thru the gas in the filter as it was full of black crap. Probably what caused it to fail.

To
a)make it a PITA so you'll take to dealer?
b)And/or make you buy the whole damn pump instead of a 10 dollar filter from a parts store?

What were your symptoms to know you needed to replace it?

Car would spin over but not crank. Read it with a friend's Autel and it showed LPFP fault, low pressure to both HPFPs. Swapped it out while getting high on gas fumes(of course this happened right after I filled the car up ) And car ran fine. After I swapped it I was curious if the pump was clogged or dead so I applied 12V and ground to it and it wouldn't spin at all = dead.
