Hey Nate, quick question as all cars I've seen have been loaded. Does the base car come with comfort access?

I recall it being a no-cost option while the Beta Configurator was launched on BMW's website, but it seems now it cannot be ordered a-la-cart.

After a short break in period for our newly installed Eisenmann Race downpipe-back exhaust system, IND’s own F10 M5 project car made its way to AMS Performance for some dyno testing. We were blessed with nearly identical weather conditions on both days, with temperatures falling within 5 degrees of one another, which helped us obtain consistent results. Our testing showed a consistent 7-10hp gain from switching to the Eisenmann exhaust system, and the dyno graph below represents a “middle of the road” set of runs, displaying a mid range stock run coupled with a mid range Eisenmann test run.

The original exhaust system from BMW is an excellent match for the boost level and performance of the F10 M5 as it comes from the factory. Once boost pressure and horsepower are increased the original exhaust system will begin to restrict exhaust flow, and performance exhaust systems like the Eisenmann will truly begin to shine, allowing modified cars to reach a higher power potential.

Interesting. I've tested the car with open downpipes and didn't get a similar result.
A tune is definitely needed.

Not to nitpick but wouldn't run 4 usually be the before run and 6 the after exhaust run?

A tune will absolutely add extra power. The stock runs were done in a different grouping, and so are numbered independently.

i know the S63Tu is an improvement over the X5/6M S63 but that's pretty impressive.

Yes i realize the AWD affects additional drive-train loss .

now i want the m5 headers

Our car was dyno tested on the Dynojet dyno at AMS Performance.

AMS has wired the car with an extensive sensor pack including intake air temperature sensors before and after the coolers, boost pressure sensors, exhaust backpressure probes, EGT probes, O2 sensors, etc... and are finishing the wiring process now to integrate the car's systems with an AIM datalogger.

Once the car is fully wired testing can begin in earnest, and the car will be run on the dyno to create more baseline data. This will allow us to analyze the car's systems and create a comprehensive tuning approach. I should have more updates soon!
