Ram air filters good or bad

Hi thinking of fitting after seeing diy post

Told can cover maf sensor in oil is this true or
Fit ? Have some on order

Don't use oil based filters and better still stick to stock, don't make a lot of difference just more noise.

Yea haven't run any tubes to the grill as it sits in the Oem air filter boxes but I may fit an air duct from the grill that replaces Oem
Air duct to feed the foam cone

Sounds good,will you be cutting the boxes open or just directing it to the openings at the bottom of boxes.

i have read that these aren't great for filtration. Alot of dust and grit gets into inlet tract. Not sure how true this is...

Air coming in from
Grills really
