Charging stuff

First off not sure if I should ask in UK, or general, please guide me ;-)

Sat here waiting 'till Monday, I took a photo of the VIN so reading through the manual. Everything is similar enough to my m135i, but enough differences to keep me busy....

One thing missing with the new toy is an under dash 12v socket. That's where I had my dash cam plugged in as well as my phone/battery case. I found the regular HU USB socket wouldn't supply enough amps otherwise. So I'm looking at the cigarette lighter, arm rest 12v and rear 12v wondering if anyone had a neat solution to get the wires up front without having them on show?

Probably going to answer myself here..... seems the console USB managed to keep my phone and battery case charged with waze running at the same time (previous bmw couldn't manage it) Not tried in anger yet. I might stick my USB meter on it to see how many amps it's allowing at some point.

Bought a hard wire fuse piggy back thing for the dash cam.
