Please elaborate on the DCT Flash within the bootmod3 app. Does it only apply to S55 or is it also recommended for S63TU?

I don't think the TCU flash applies to the M5.

TCU flash is for the S55 DCT.

UPDATE: We have decided to bundle an OTS map with all purchases of a bootmod3 license without any additional cost.

For those that require more than one custom map they're now: $50 for N55, $100 for the S55 and $150 for the S63TU.

This doesn't affect anyone that currently has bootmod3 as we've been providing the OTS map free of charge since the release. Website has been updated to reflect this product update and pricing as well.

The above dealer list updated. We haven't yet exposed the tables that we tune with, they're coming soon. Some of the dealers above are already doing tuning using other means and have the tables necessary already to get the work done.

I'll be testing the BootMod3 with a JB4+BCM soon. DME's get back home tomorrow and the Agent will be here in a few more days. I cannot wait!

One of our tuners, Halim, has done quite a large number of S63TU tunes out there and those tunes are being incorporated into our OTS maps with some additional updates as we test with them through bootmod3 and absorb feedback from customers and shops out there running them.

There have been some inquiries but as of this momoent we don't have an Atlanta dealer. If you know of a great shop in the area feel free to let them know about bm3 and we can get them set up.

Two questions

1) Is this available at your Toronto location, or does the ECU need to be mailed away

2) do you support deleting/remapping the cold startup routine like others? for those who run catless downpipes.

Toronto is our home base. That's where everything happens in house. bootmod3 software and process is built from the ground up here. Our dealers are providing training to follow the same processes and procedure we follow at our home location. Shop address on our website is where mechanical work/installs/unlock are performed. Software development itself (Android/iOS app, server stuff for bootmod3) is not done at the shop

Yes, cold start and decat handling are part of our Stage 2 maps.

So u still have to mail in your DME.... Was wanting a solution where u purchase cable and then load software to car via laptop without having to dismantle and mail the ecu.

Additionally, once u get your DME back any future changes can be done via the software without having to send the ecu back for changes....

My understanding is that no one can do the initial flash over OBD alone because they haven't cracked the encryption on them. It requires flipping a DIP switch inside the DME to allow flashing which is why they have to be sent in.

After the initial flash is done, further flashes can be done via cable and laptop.

Typically people send them wrapped in bubble wrap and well packed inside a box with some additional foam padding or more bubble wrap

The next big release is for custom tuning support for end users. We'll be starting with the S55 followed by the N55 and S63TU shortly after. Should be fun stay tuned
