New M5 Owner
Been driving a 7 for the last five years and decided I needed something a little sportier. Here is what I ended up with…. 2016 M5, 3yr lease with 10k miles for $1,168 per month.
Competition Package Driver Assistance Plus Executive Package Bang & Olufsen Black Kidney Grills. Mods so far consist of 12mm spacers on the rear, 20% window tint. |

That was the one area I was not 100% sure of. I did the coverage for $1,599 and it includes cosmetic scratches. Not sure if I over paid or not.

What's up neighbor! Congrats on the pickup! She's a beauty and my favorite color! just passed by your area last weekend going to Cincy! Awesome to have someone else here close to me as BMW's aren't as big here than the West/East Coast! I'm up here close to Toledo.

Your car looks great. Are you going to change the exhaust and remove active sound?

The car sounds better with active sound coded out with a more aggressive exhaust. Great you're getting a tune. I ran totally stock for around a year with a stage 1 tune which was amazing for power as well as performance before fitting downpipes and a more aggressive set up.
RW Carbon makes great stuff for diffusers etc. https://instagram.com/p/BEvK9KSS62g/ https://instagram.com/p/BF2jpMUjghf/ http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1086187

Amazing deal! I pay 1700 for mine (including CA tax) for full optioned M5, except CBB. MSRP was 124k
I know I overpay for it, but in love with the car! But the best part is this: previous owner got wheel & tire insurance for $1700 for 5 years in 2014. I took over the lease from him and its due in 7 months = wheel insurance is still active. However, last week I damaged my tire and dealer refused to change it under the insurance as it has the name of the previous owner, but not mine. BUT, the VIN in the insurance is for my vehicle. After numerous calls with dealer, insurance company, and BMW NA office, they refuse to help me at all saying oh it is too late to transfer the insurance to your name. Basically $1700 that the owner before me paid got burned down and I had to pay $500 for rear Pilot Super Sport. BMW NA heard me being pissed, and once I told them its fine guys just offer me a new tire, Megan from their customer service department told me that I want too much from them... Considering I am paying $20,000 per year for my car... After this situation, I must say, no i8 for me after M5, no X5M as a second vehicle, no more BMW! I somewhat like Audi, Mercedes, or Porsche. So I will be going to that direction... Love my M5! I baby it! But I do not like BMW NA management |
