If it's been alright for a while with this set up and just come up then clean cone filters not oiling them and clean maf's with CRC spray and cancel code,then see how you go, it's all I can suggest for now.

Thanks for the reply, i have fitted the original filters back and cleaned both maf sensors out they were dirty. However last night under very heavy load it went into limp mode again. So turned of and started it and all was well. Read for code and nothing showed up 🧐

Hi
Old thread but wanted to update for future generations. My M6 recently thrown 102902 code and I could not find answers anywhere. It says DME 2 Air Volume plausibility I decided to clean mafs and it didn’t do anything. Then swapped mafs Bank 1 to Bank 2 and error moved from Bank 2 to Bank 1 and now read same as yours 102002 I can confirm it’s faulty MAF and needs replacement and should be sorted. Thanks |
