You do need COMP pack!
That car looks like it has been abused. Leather is not in great shape. Steering wheel is destroyed. For a pre-LCI with that mileage in that condition, I would pass. This is a car that needs to be maintained in order to give you the hassle-free enjoyment you deserve. When I see things like the interior in that bad of shape, I can only assume the car wasn’t taken care of. Be patient, the white/Sakhir is not uncommon. For 32-35k you can find a much cleaner example. Buttons next to the steering wheel are HUD, active cruise, lane departure, night vision, and rear approach warning Last edited by Doctor_X; 07-23-2020 at 07:59 PM.. |

I’ve owned both non CP and CP on the f10 platform.
The CP brings the car to a place where this car was meant to be. It’s a big, heavy car with a lot of power. Making it feel more nimble is a priceless scenario. That’s what the CP does. More responsive steering ratios, more aggressive ride height, more aggressive suspension tuning - these are the things that make the CP worthwhile. The minor increase in power and the exhaust are not the valuable components of the package. |

Downside they only made comps 2014+, which means if you're looking for a 2013 you wont get the option. And honestly the LCI updates are a must. |

Oh sorry to clarify, power wise with mods and a tune there will be little to no difference. I read somewhere that the comp pack gets and upgraded Bosch controller but of course I cant find that article.

And I agree with Doc up there on car condition, you might want to find one that has service records especially if you are going to be nodding the car.

Nice color combo, some of the cosmetics can be taken care of, it doesn't look too bad. The carbon brakes, great as they are, scare the hell out of me with the replacement cost so I'd take that into consideration as it's eventually going to be a concern. Good luck with the search, you'll love the car!

You really need to step up to a 2014 LCI Comp. I drove a non-comp over a year ago and swore I would never own an F10 M5, until I drove a comp a few months ago and decided it would be a perfect DD for me.
Be patient, and you can likely find one for mid 30's in the coming months.

Remember the more costly options you have on they can go expensively wrong, like the comfort entry door handle problems which can flatten batteries overnight. Good luck! |

I'm also in the market and think I've found the one. It's a 2013 non-comp Sakhir Orange with Black/Black Merino interior. It has 34,000 miles and the price seems to be right. I've been trolling around this forum for a while and I'm so thankful for all the insight!
Best of luck with your search! |
