Retrofit Rear Brake Kit to F10 M5 ?

I'm sure we all hate our rear brake kit system as it looks puny and cheap compared to the F80 and F82 rear brake kit set up.

Has anyone looked into retrofitting the M3 or M4 rear brake kit to ours?

I'm assuming the main problem that's holding us up is the electronic e-brake.

Just wanted to see what other OEM alternatives are out there. Would rather keep the electronic e-brake function also.

While I have no constructive comments, I do agree and wish we had an alternative.
I almost didn't consider this car because of the rear brakes.

They don't look too bad and I'm sure M division wouldn't have skimped on larger ones if they were really needed. The rears on the F90 have moved to the front of the disc though I think it's just for the sake of change.

Most of the braking force is applied from the front anyway...the giant disc in rear also will provide for plenty of braking torque even though the rear is a 2 piston sliding caliper.

The front 6 piston caliper is DEFINITELY stopping the car.

Fully aware that the brakes will do it's job just fine.

I'm just talking about the cosmetic side of it.

The rears just look so...cheap compared to the other Ms

From my experiences with other platforms, is that usually it's just a matter of using the right bracket...
