Haha, this was actually taken up in Tahoe a few weeks back when we were there for a ski / snowboard trip. Snow was coming down hard, blizzard conditions.

same as the one that sacrificed itself to save my BMW X1 from a red light runner a few days ago.

The red light runner crashed into the Camry and totaled it. I was in the next lane and survived without a scratch. I think the Camry that saved my BMW X1 deserves an honorary BMW badge.

Elusive m640i. Small caps “m” for the M/// badge having smaller font to the 640i lettering.

Had the crackle pop tune for good measure, and gunned it from every stand still in peak hour traffic to let people know that this is no ordinary 640i, but an m640i. But as usual the only people who would know/care are other M owners or enthusiasts who ain’t gonna be fooled

I legit didn't even realize it was there. I actually went to look at my cars to see if it was there. It is. Now I can't unsee it. Luckily the plate frames on both cars mostly cover it up.

I guess it's one of those things that you see so often around here, you don't even realize its there.

M license plate frame - check
Quad exhaust added - check
Winged mirrors added - check
Painted calipers - check
Dinan sticker on side window - check
Must be saving up to mod the front grille next

This thread reminds me of an experience I had a long time ago.

I rode my airhead BMW to a particular town, and parked it to go into a restaurant. As I took off my helmet and riding gear, a young man asked me what kind of a motorcycle it is.

I pointed to the roundels, and said: “It’s a BMW.” (An R90/6, as it happens.)

He replied: “Oh, I thought it was a joke or something.”

Looks more like just add-on tips rather than a full exhaust. Not sure why the ///M badge was added lol the M340 already has enough of those. The M340 already has painted ///M calipers, badges on the wheels (if optioned over the 18s), steering wheel, door sill, and outside of the US, on the fender etc.

A fully loaded M3 Comp is about 100k and my only missing 2 options M340 was 62k.
