KW HAS & Dinan Sway Bars Install
Recently had the KW HAS & Dinan Sway Bars installed by the fine folks at AR Auto & Adrenaline Racing just outside Portland, OR. Only have experienced the drive home from the install but I can certainly feel the car is much more planted, quite stable at higher speeds and the cornering is quite remarkable. I am very impressed thus far and look forward to more "testing". Here are a bunch of pics from the install and from the shops test drive.

looking really good. AR Auto Service is a very reputable shop. How much was the install if you don't mind me asking?

Awesome! What settings do you have the swaybars on? They fit well with no drama?

Shoot me a pm and I'd be happy to share what they charged me which I thought was very fair based on some of the crazy quotes I was getting.

This is the reference my former Dinan certified shop gave and recommended to me: http://store.uucmotorwerks.com/artic...ybar_setup.htm The handling is phenomenal beyond belief. WOW. If you want your beast to really handle, I dare anyone to try these settings. You will be wowed. I thought my E60 M5 handled well with RD Sport Sways and Dinan suspension. This feels like it's on a whole another level! Took a on ramp last night at 90. Car just ate it up for lunch and sad "what's next?"

Great reply, thanks! Might have to move the timetable up on finishing the suspension. It's either going to be downpipes/tune next or Dinan swaybar/balls with brake pads/brake lines.

Awesome! Definitely worth the $$$$. Glad you went KW over DINAN for the springs.

Yeah after reading months and months of reading all of your reviews, it was a no brainer. The difference in handling is just phenomenal!

I didn't you had anything else to add on your epic build! As the mod bug always says "there's always something else and it's never enough!" You will love this set up!

It's been about two weeks since the KW HAS & Dinan Sway Bars install. As expected, the rears dropped some and I had them re-adjusted yesterday. Still nothing but rave reviews on this combination of a suspension set up. Handling and stability are so much improved and just phenomenal now in my opinion. Love the look of the new stance. I find myself staring even more at her now. Pics after the re-adjustment yesterday. For anyone wanting my measurements, from fender to bottom lip of wheels: Rear 24 1/2" and front 24 1/4".

Very nice. I'm ordering the KW HAS today, and looking into sway bars. You're still happy with your purchase? Are there any other options, besides Dinan for sway bars, or are they the best? Sway bars from them are more expensive than the KW HAS.

Couldn't be more happier with the suspension set up now. Love the look and the improved handling is just unreal. Did a bunch of research and the Dinan sways for the F10 M5 are rumored to be top.

You'll love it. But, I just replaced my HAS with V3's and wow. Huge upgrade.

KW V3 is too much money for the type of driving I'm going to do (no track). Jealous, though!
Seems like youre running out of mods to do lol. You have almost everything. |
