What damage to look for after being towed?

Seems like DC is bad karma for M5s this week (reference MSportDC's thread). I ran into some trouble Saturday night (my first night home in a long time) and, long story short, had to have my car towed about two miles (but mercifully didn't get a ticket!). The tow truck wasn't a true flatbed but one of those "Ts" that extends out and lifts all four tires off the ground via deployment of brackets in front and back of all tires.

My concern is that there may be some damage of which I wouldn't be aware. Is there anything in particular I should look for? Does that kind of tow cause damage to say the aftermarket exhaust? Should I take it in and have it checked out? I'm not getting any error lights but would rather err on the side of caution. Thanks in advance.
