B&O bass cutting out
I just picked up my 2013 M5. During the 12 hour drive home, I was able to learn most of the "electronics". One of the things I noticed after a while is that although the sound quality of the radio was good, the bass would go out. Then randomly it would come back on. At first I thought maybe it had something to do with the reception on the radio but when I was in areas I knew the reception was good and it still had no bass, I knew something was up. Anyone experience this? Sounds like an amp problem? Where is the amp located? I wonder if someone messed with it before and the connection is just loose? Probably wishful thinking.
Any input appreciated! |

It is to the left side of the trunk under the carpet. See below which will show you.

I wonder if there is anyone out there that can refurbish them? Quite a costly piece of hardware to go bad. Mine otherwise was in good condition physically with only the bass aspect failing on it. |
