Michelin PS2 - used for 3 track laps
Hoping someone can give their opinion, if a tire was used for 3 hot laps (you can see a tiny bit of burnt rubber on top of the tire) but it still measures at 90-95% tread life. Is there any issue with using the tire on the street?
I haven't heard of using a tire on the track for a few laps as compromising anything on the tire itself but wanted to make sure. |

there should be no problem using them on the street is you have some thread "edge damage" from tracking. This is not uncommon.
Adjust your tire pressures next time you track the car. You generally need to go up a couple pounds from normal for continuous high speed use. (see manual and tire pressure tag)
