My steering wheel has the same markings/scuffs as yours does in the bottom picture. Mine has been that way since I purchased the vehicle used, any idea what might have caused it for you? Did it get caught by a watch? Or a coat zipper?

its from a ring, most likely wedding ring since its on the left side of the wheel and looks like wring the wheel as well

you wear a pocket knife?.. with a clip.. to hang on your pocket? sounds like you are from Horry County. .. but anyway, yea i always make sure if i have anything in my pockets, its in my left pocket so hitting my wheel isnt a possibility because a marred steering wheel is an extreme eye sore
