First thing I think of is how worn they are; my old 295 SS's were under 4mm tread and the grip was noticeably degrading.

i wondered if a lowered m5 f10 with spacers will take the 315/30/20 option?

A month ago i put some 305s psc2s on the rear which have more grip than the ps4s and I still have basically no traction in 2nd. Unless the tarmac is brand new it spins.

R888r 315 are the next tyres for sure.

I have a bit of chirping in first from my new 4s's then pure grip in 2nd and 3rd on full throttle.

Considering 10mm forged ones now with hub centric whether my 5mm ones need torquing or not. There are some nice ones from Poland on eb but with silver bolts. Will ask if they can do black ones, also need two nice locking ones..

Timely post as I was just about to order a new set. Changed to 305s! So pumped to get back to summer tires.

Don't think you'll regret it, the pilot cup 2's have slightly more grip but dicey when it rains that's why I went for ps4s.

Just retorqued the lug nuts again on the rears and they were fine still in exactly the same position at 140nm, it's just the initial first check after tyre fit and installing the 5mm spacers they needed doing 200 miles on as recommended by the tyre fitters.

I have R888r 315's, there is definitely a lot of tire noise. They're amazing for grip, I can launch it in 1st and hook like an AWD car. The only problem is that they wear out really fast, especially with my driving style.

I'll be trying the PS4S next

I hated not getting traction when roll racing at 40 or 50 mph in second gear. Spinning ain't winning. My car is approximately 650 whp.

Moved to Nittos NT05 305's in the rear and it dead hooks at those speeds. Also installed Nittos NT555 G2's in the fronts.

Others on this board have moved to these tires with great results. These tires ride better, smoother, better traction, and slightly quieter than stock tires.

Don't bother with the ps4s you'll be disappointed. Especially coming from a r888r. And yes they're noisy.

Do you recommend any other tire that will last me longer with similar grip? I daily drive it and always drive it like I stole it so the R888r don't last long lol

There's really no other tire out there. I had nt05 and the don't grip the same. Nt05r are not the right size specs for our cars. Until you get a all wheel drive car. This is the next best thing. On about to order another set.

Oops, I meant to say NT05 in the rears. I have no issues with them from a 40/50 mph roll. They hook great and they are quiet.
