Did you turn the wheels next the vent down until there is a blue dot?

Not blowing cold air, but otherwise operating? If so, could need a recharge or worse pulley or compressor.

My pulley went out a few months ago, and there's no rebuild kit so the entire compressor was replaced.

Did you have to pay out of pocket for that? If so, how much did that cost? Thanks!

Extended warranty, thank you. Replaced A/C compressor with clutch. Reclaimed, evacuated, and refilled AC system. $965 parts, $1326 labor, total was $2291. I had it done along with a couple other warranty items, and I only pay one deductible per visit, not per item. So it either cost me $200 or nothing.

Cool thanks. I asked because I may be in the same situation. If my compressor is toast, I'm out of warranty now, but my labor rate is extremely cheap. Thank you!

The condensers are weak in this model. I would do a leak check first. Recharge the system and add dye. Wait a week (maybe less) and inspect the system as best as possible looking for leaks. Focus most attention around the condenser. Obviously if the shop hooks up their gauges and says the system is charged, you likely have another problem like the aforementioned compressor. Sometimes it can be as simple as a switch/sensor as well. I would make sure to get a proper diagnosis before writing off any common failures right away.

I just talked to my shop. They told me they can't detect any leaks. The compressor and all parts work fine still so they just refilled the Freon. Hopefully there's no slow leak.
