M6 Software Update

Assuming the M5/M6 Multimedia software is the same. Can anyone assist with where to obtain the latest firmwate file to updaye my M6 F13 2013?

Go to bmw site. Put in your vin and bam! You will need a FAT32 Formatted USB.

Odd tried my VIN to check and error'd out.

It said the same thing for me too, I entered my complete VIN and it says an error occurred and please try again later. I even tried on a different browser but still got the same message.

Or try using other M5 vin. Search cars for sale and try diff vin for same year models.

Its the latest one. I downloaded it again for you guys from bmw server last night. Take before and after pic of version from settings and info. You will see

Cool just wondering what it shows for you after the update as i was at BMW in december for Service and they did update my software then.

This looks like an f13 LCI screen which differs from my f13 as per my picture at the top of the post. Will this new update still pertain to my f13 2013?

So the file you sent may not ne compatibile. If it isnt i guess it wont take?? Or will it affect my current software?

Another post says it needs MX-003.005.004+TX-003.005.006 this was August 2013. Surely someone has a bin file out there or it can be obtained from somewhere online?

I found another website. The UK one and entering the last 7 digits of your vin works. If you guys have issues with the original link like I did then give this a go. PS- My car goes faster now with the new update.......
