Why my Injectors looks like this

Hey there,

I got drivetrain malfunction in cylinder 6 and i decided to replace them.

After i pull out the injektors from Bank 2 i'm affraid.
Injektor 5-6 looks very dirrty.

Does anyone know why they look like that?

2012

But injectors was changed by BMW about 2 years ago.

Not sure why your injectors look the way they do, but running some Redline SI-1 every so often will only help keep them clean and in top working order.

Run some Torco Octane Booster, and your injectors will clean up.

problem solved.
It was a cable break on the brown cable, which goes from the dme to the injector 6.

That's odd. Glad you fixed the issue! Hard to tell from the picture, but is the connector clip broken or the wire itself half broken right behind the connector?

Yes, the connector clip breaks, when i pulled the cable out from the plug

Forgive my ignorance, but how would this make your injectors dirty? Wouldn't it simply cause the car to go into limp mode and be inoperable? Thx

I dont know why Injekotr 5 & 6 is so dirty.

First i thougt, the Injektor was broken and that would be the issue for drivetrain error at injektor 6.

After i replace all Injector 5-8 , the drivetrain error at Injector 6 was still there.

Thanks for the clear photo and confirmation. Good job diagnosing. Some people would struggle for a week or more before discovering bad wiring!
