getting runaround from protuningfreaks
I'm getting pissed. I ordered the wifi obd2 adapter yesterday and it said my Amex card was declined. 30 seconds later I get an email from Amex telling me a charge with card not present from them. I see the charge on my account. I emailed them and got an email response from "jira service manager" saying "we're on it". I replied to that email got no response. I sent another email thru their website and got the same exact canned response.
Did I get scammed? In another hour I'm contesting the charge with Amex. I can't find a phone number for them. Anyone know it? I've no idea what was going on at their end other than the lack of response, but I tried again yesterday afternoon with the same credit card and it worked. Huh. xHP time! I’ve purchased multiple times from them without issue (software only). I think this may be an issue due to your bank not allowing the transaction at first.
That is if you’re purchasing from their official website and not some scam, not even sure if those exist though. |
