But keep being blind.
Dude, just stop. If either of those two organizations you linked to announced that the sun would rise tomorrow, I’d be sure this is the last day the earth was going to exist. Just stop it.

dont want to derail the thread. still like my m3 over a TSLA.

I don’t have any issue with anyone here lol. Not like I hate any of you.

I just think it’s funny how some people get mad at some of the stuff discussed yet get offended when someone fires back lol.

That’s not me I don’t give a fuck. If I believe in something I’ll say it. No one changes my mind lmaooo

That’s awesome. I hope every company makes money. Isn’t that what business is about? Making money? I’m confused as to why you’d be upset or find fault with businesses that were created to make money that actually are profitable. Hey perhaps no one ever told you this, but did you know that actual human beings who are earning a living for themselves and their families work for all those companies you just listed? Now you know.

Did you know that companies saying "Inflation is bad, we're suffering from it too" to the people, and then posting record profits after isn't good?

And who says the workers and their families make a living? The company makes record profits, but the bonuses only go to the CEOs and their shareholders

Being angry they make profit isn't the issue, making RECORD profits when they complain that "inflation is affecting us" is.

If you have so much, as a television set or coffee machine in your house or drive a car or have even the smallest of investments, including a 401(k), you’re a hypocrite and I have zero interest in holding any more discussions about this with you. You complain and worse you condemn the very companies that provide products and services that bring your life to a level of comfort unprecedented in the history of mankind. Your argument is patently absurd, and anyone over the age of 22 years old with the smallest amount of education realizes just how embarrassing your arguments are. Now stop and I’ll have mercy on you.

The worst part is, I would bet half my wealth that it was just one teacher or professor that put all this rubbish in your brain. I bet the other half of my wealth it wasn’t your parents.

Well, the issue is I'm mostly pointing at the oil/gas companies, and groceries.

For example, cheese went from 3$ to 8$, and meat (specifically chicken) quadrupled in price.

Plus you US guys don't pay a carbon tax on gas like we do, which is having companies pass down the cost of transporting everything to their consumers.

In all seriousness, if they can make the infrastructure for EVs by 2035, hats off to them.
Ha! You wait and see what is EU going to do if it's blocked, give them a hundred lines? It'll change Canada's stance of EV's.

People are already having issues here.

Our winters kill the range of EVs, you have slow charging, and Tesla's have issues with door opening due to ice (tesla issue tbh)

Hybrids is the future.

Prepare to buy a Prius.

Revenue =/= profits.

When prices increase, so does revenue if volume remains the same. Profit is a different formula.

Evs were the slowest but now are the fastest depreciating things around and come lease end time there's going to be some pain as many 10000s of generic teslas will flood the market bringing down the price of all of them. This is in addition to the musk effect of cutting the price of them.

Opinions please.
There is a proportional representation system in most of the EU

Green party support is needed to function and they get their moneys worth by sticking to ice ban policies and converting 2 lane traffic to 1 lane cars 1 lane cycling and frustrating drivers and increasing pollution due to tailbacks but other parties have to work with them to form a government so their lunacy has to be accepted.

Unlike the rep v dem in us or con v lab in UK(this is why uk is especially effed because they don't need green support to function but still act weird and in a non practical way )

Actually, you are right. At least for Florida. My BMW dealership is loaded down with Tesla’s that were traded in and after what Musk did they’re worth even less than what they paid for them for the trade. It’s getting bad. That combined with the fact, the economy is tanking let’s see what happens.

You park your EV in your garage for the night, plug it in and turn in for the night, then you're awakened by your garage ablaze and collapsing and thank goodness the garage is detached from the house...or is it, I'm not scaremongering but is it not something worth thinking about before purchasing an EV?

There is a reason for everything.
'EV Battery packs have been known to catch fire through overheating and while being charged.
*More worryingly battery fire can erupt spontaneously, contamination of just a single cell during manufacture is one possible explanation'.

A gas car is very unlikely to catch fire in your garage unless you can smell gas from a fuel leak so you wouldn't then put it in the garage with a hot engine.
