For the f10, I for sure agree.

They look best on black imo!

looks great! I have been looking at getting the matte version but didn't like how it was branded AFE. Did yours have the AFE sticker and I assume you were able to remove it?

Thanks Yes - I removed the AFE logo. It wasn’t straightforward - on the gloss version, they clear coated over the sticker so you can’t just peel it off. This required careful removal with a razor blade, sanding, clear coating, then color sanding and polishing. It’s perfect now, but required quite a bit of work. If you’re comfortable with sanding/clearing/polishing it’s not too bad.

Cleaned the rims today and removed all the break dust, then applied a spray on ceramic coat to try and help them stay clean longer.

How did the ceramic coating application go? I plan on doing my own shortly as well. Which one did you use?

I personally used mothers spray ceramic because they had it at O'Reilly autoparts, but I plan on buying a bottle online called Nexgen Ceramic because they had the best reviews. Mothers was alright, the sheen is there and the bead affect when I washed the car was there but not incredible, I will definitely keep you posted on how it does at keeping brake dust off.

Gave the car a full chemical decontamination, polished it with sonax perfect finish and put on the new 2 step sonax cc Evo ceramic coating i ordred from Germany.
It toke 3 days of hell getting it all done

I also installed a oem bmw m performance Wing.

Car is litterally like a mirrow now, and it Seems to get more and more glossy as the coating cures.
BTW on picture one, its not dirt on the car that gives it that fuzzy finish, its the reflections from the walls.

Its been lurking in my garage for 4 days now, and cant wait to drive it this weekend

Next mod coming is KW Has kit, and maybe spacers on the fronts to compensate for the wider rear wheels

I would change at 5-6k miles max. Also look into moving into 5w-40 or 5w-50 weight. Better protection at higher temps

Oh no no no...every 10k she visits the dealer. I change the oil at 3500-5k. Motul products then, dealer stuff at that interval.

I change at 3500-5k depending on how I have been driving it, every 10k she goes to the dealer. The dealer oil made by Shell is very good stuff and has a low NOACK number (evaporative volatility) which is a good thing in a direct injected engine. My owners manual says to use 0w30 or 5w30 so I've stuck to that and haven't had any issues with oil consumption.

lol alright, I was just thinking about how nasty that oil was coming out of you engine must of been at 10k. I personally do 5k oil changes by the dealer. (I'm just lazy when it comes oil changes)

Dude this looks insane. Strong work! I fully appreciate the amount of work it takes to do a legit correction/polish/ceramic.
