I tuned in today at about 60' Maroq was by FAR the technical leader, controlling the ball, playing hard, taking shots. France just had a few break-aways and then ran the clock.

At least it wasn't Giroud

At the moment it's odds on for France to nudge it at 35/1 with Arg at 50/1 to win in 90 minutes and for Messi to score first increase from 7/2 to 5/1 so slipping a bit for Arg.

Those odds mean nothing to me Rick........Brazil was favorite to win against Croatia and Portugal against Morocco, and look what happen. And what about Spain and England

They are two very good teams, it will all come down to whoever scores the most goals

Argentina like to attack, and France is just as good with the ball as they are without it. France don’t need to control a game, they just need to cause a few turnovers and hopefully score.

I hear what you say Dino, the betting odds are on the 'live' situation at present felt from the many experts as they see it. Messi is on a high as you say but the round ball shot from the French strikers like Mbappe is like a cannonball.

The most entertaining game I`ve watched in this world cup after France woke up and started playing they way they can. Until then, it looked like they didn`t deserve to be there.

Scoring all three French goals Mbappe deserves the GB, just bad luck for them missing two penalty shots which is just not recoverable at that level.

argentina played very well and deserved it. that last penalty in extra time was just unlucky with the ball hitting the arm. mbappe and messi both showed up big, but france's supporting cast seemed to make some poor turnovers that led to breakaways for argentina.

can't really feel bad for france/mbappe though. they won 4 years ago

For the amount of talent that France has I was really disappointed in their performance until the 80th minute mark. If they played like they played after the 80th minute mark the whole game, they would probably be the 2022 World Cup Champions right now.
