Mick has had a very disappointing season. He was always the faster driver when Mazepin was on his side, but obviously continously outclassed by Kmag.

I think this track will suit the Ferrari's, and that LEC will finish 2nd in the WDC.
I think PER won't be able to keep in pace with the rest.
Mercedes for me is the big questionmark. Their stamina on tyres really impressed me last sunday.
(and again, RUS taking the strategic initiative during the race too; he may whine a lot but his pro active approach on strategy during the race many times this year is refreshing.)

Ferrari has read this memo and will do their best to make sure it doesn't happen

Just look back to two races before Brazil, COTA and MEX. In quali Mercs were down .6 sec at COTA and .3 sec in MEX. Interlagos is just different. Has Merc made gains from their terrible 1sec+ off the pace in early season...sure. But they are still quite a ways off pace at the more modern tracks(which now makeup most of the schedule). Max's race pace was still dominate prior to Brazil.

Wolff has said they are still behind and hinted that Interlagos 'fell into their lap' if that's true.
Max erroneously got those 2 penalty points and no way will it stop him from challenging HAM at the fast approaching Arab race to get that 15th win.
Max and Checo have shook hands so will hopefully do the same one-two as last time there to dilute the Merc threat. Ferrari have run out of money for upgrades apparently so can't really expect them to be up there apart from Sainz maybe with his fresher PU.

I think so.

I'd love to see Mick succeed and he's certainly a capable driver but I don't see a championship driver nor do I see any team that would benefit from his presence at the moment.

The only one driver that I think Mick would be an upgrade to, a small one though, would be Stroll.
