What did you not like on the car just out of curiosity?

For the cost of an RS6 could you not get a 4WD M5?

RS6 is only available as an estate I think. Looks awkward from behind despite slightly more rear load space.Rear of M5 is a million dollars with bigger pipes and fins.

RS6 is available is both estate and saloon. I think the RS6 looks absolutely fantastic from all angles and is a far more usable car than the M5.

You can't get an F90 M5 for Audi RS6 money though.

I may be going RS6 myself next year, depending on financial situation, otherwise if i can afford it I'll be looking at the E63s or F90 M5. The F10 is good if you like roundabouts sideways.

Let me correct my above statement, The RS6 WAS available in both estate and saloon until the RS7 took the RS6 saloons place. RS6 is estate only now.

Yup it appears you're right looking into it further, never been an Audi man and have no intention to. The instant put off for me is the huge grille which like marmite you either love it or don't.

You have to be the first person I've ever heard say they don't like the audi grill. I thought it was an instant like thing. Oh well each to their own I guess.

The F10 is still a beautiful car.

Your M5 is safe now with the new bearings in place though the originals were perfect because your M5 has many proven oil changes, just like mine. I wouldn't change now for all the tea in China, going to keep it for the next few years.

Touch wood. There's plenty more to go wrong though.

I'm scared of the values aswell. Lol

Personally hate estate cars would consider an RS6 if they did a saloon, the RS7 looks ugly

Agree that fastback on RS7 doesn't look nice and overall it has awkward dimensions.

It's just that the RS7 looks so damn old fashioned and dated body, like from the seventies and eighties

When are you going to get a carbon diffuser? Then your m5s arse will truly look a million dollars.

At the mo M rear end is attracting a lot of attention with the carbon exhaust tips though may do something about the diffuser when I'm ready.

It will attract far more with a diffuser. I have the high kick carbon spoiler aswell. I wouldn't have it any other way. Did you see my thread on JBSPEEDs new diffuser? My personal opinion is that it's good money if you're wanting to spend under £500. Should be getting some photos over the next few days of the Big M and my buddy's Tiguan. You'll see the carbon in all its glory.

Clarkson is definitely marmite. I think he's great though.

I did see it and must say it looks spectacular combined with the high kick spoiler.
Look forward to seeing the two cars together, in the meantime lets do a sundance to dispel this awful weather, don't like taking it in the rain and getting it filthy.
