Nice comparison; what rims are on the 3D Beast? They look like B18's!!

On the Meister, valves open on startup and closed on revving?

I like the 3D and Meisterschaft a little bit more. They're deeper, throatier. But they all sound great.

OK...So I have been getting used to the GtHaus system for the past few weeks and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, the video does not allow you to hear the sound while accelerating. That is when it really comes to life. I will try to get some good footage this weekend at Targa Trophy and post.

I thought the 3D system was by far the best.

I like the 3D, but they all sound light and empty to me. In addition, that raspy fart really is a turn off IMO.

I'd love to see an F10 M5 eisenmann race comparo with the E92 M3

i am not sure how much the meisterschaft retail but it sounds great! the 3D exhaust also sounds great, i think this setup is a bargain. I personally think Eisenmann sounds the worst. Akrapovic sound is ok but way tooooooo much money for the setup. even the CF tips are like $1450 from EAS

I think you are mistaken about the exhaust pricing. All of the full exhaust systems are within a few hundred dollars of each other, be it Eisenmann, Meisterschaft, or Akrapovic. The $1400 tips are only if you'd like to change to another tip. The exhaust comes with your choice of CF or Ti.

If you are talking cans only, that is a different story altogether.

Garage List
Akrapovic > Meisterschaft > 3D Design > Eisenmann. But they all sound great.

Awesome, The Akra sounds great, I'm sure it's like ten grand! The new M5s are so cool, I just wish they were like 90% as big as the actual size.

OT, but what’s with idiots laughing like they are high on Quaaludes and nitrous when they hear a loud car revving up? Any video of a car with an aftermarket exhaust and a group of standers by has people laughing like mental patients.

I don't know...maybe it is the genuine excitement for the folks who spent the time and effort to research a new exhaust, then drop the coin and put it on their M.

I can speak for the little kids on this specific video - they like their parents' cars fast and loud. And as you can hear, the louder the better. Something I encourage wholeheartedly

HOLY CRAP!!!!!

I want to give a huge thumbs up to all who posted their cars!

All the cars & exhausts just sound so different & so personal. A huge kudos to those who desire to step out of the shadow.

Again - this is what is so great about this board & this group of people. The cars are more or less the same, yet the sounds are so individual & wonderful!

I personally have the Akrapovic, & I am loving every minute of it, yet I realize & understand why people could want a bit more "boom" from the rear, & at times I would agree.

I would also say - as great as all these sound, I still miss the great noise from my e60 M5 with the Dinan exhaust, and even more so my past e90 with the BMW Performance exhaust - those were never to be forgotten!

I consider myself not a judge, but an enthusiast, - and IMHO - ALL your cars sound just fantastic !

Hats off to you gentlemen.......

Regards

Lighten up man. I laugh like I'm high on nitrous everytime I start my car.
