Looked up your thread over there. Very nice. I once spec up a GT Silver GT3 as well and if not for the unfortunate spontaneous combustion, it would be in my stable today. Can't afford to add it now. Maybe in a couple of years time, I can get a lightly used specimen to add to the family once the RS hits the market.

mine arrived 3 weeks ago. i think it would give the 458 a good run in the "RAWNESS" dept. the sound approaching 9000 rpm is not of this earth. its insane from a stock car really-the noise.

Thanks brother, I ended up cancelling the GT3 back in February 2014 when I got the Turbo S and the GT3 issues were prevalent. Im sure Ill be back in a P car soon.

Mind you I have the catless Capristo exhaust so the sound is brilliant. I have read on F Chat that the stock Speciale is not perfect based on the expectations and prices paid. The R8 V10 sounds great too because I have a GMG 200 cell exhaust that screams F1. The Ferrari is louder and the R8 is slightly higher pitched; I like them both but the Ferrari slightly more. The Jag has the best stock sound of the three and I wont even consider modding it exhaust wise.

So if all three are stock my ranking would be:

Jag
Ferrari
Audi

With mods on the Audi and the Ferrari, the Jag moves to third but not far behind.

Have you had any problems tripping over things since you bought the 458? Any time I parked that beauty, i'd be walking backwards so I could look at it as long as I could! I used to live near Los Angeles.....today I just moved 10" of snow off my driveway, very sad.

Begging you to be careful with that beautiful car as even McClaren can't defy the laws of physics. MPSCs are shite in under 45F-50F weather as are the vast majority of ultra high performance tyres. You are essentially doing burn outs on glorified 'hockey pucks'! lol

Cold in GA but you can still take some nice drives just cold man. GA is colder than NY crazy man. Land in GA at 1830 and out Thursday morning so I get to drive the GT3 tonight(: Miss SoCal, but not the takes and traffic.

I have 3 others but only 1 of which is probably over 600 crank (Jag with tune), the R8 is circa 575 awchp and the BS is probably at 550 rwchp with a tune.
