Fast, didnt it run a slower time in a previous run? I think in the 7:2X's and there was a long thread about it at Rennlist?

Either what a car and what a price point it will carry with all the dealers gouging their non order allocation like always with "air" markup.

I am very excited about this car. I am on a list but not sure if I'll actually get one.

Porsche always comes through when they up the ante on the GT3. I can nail a MSRP allocation, but I will only move my RS for an RS. RS just looks like a menance .............the boys on the Porsche sites can't drive a GT3 to 80% of its capacity me included so track times are not too important to me. The markers are at 20k over to 50k you will never get the ADM back your just buying into the game.

Yes it is. I don't like the whole limited allocation process. They should sell as many as they can rather than limiting allocations.

When the time is right Im still going to get a 15/16 model. After all the research I've been doing the only upgrade I'll do will be is an exhaust. Either Ipe or sharkwerks bypass. I drove a 15 w sharkwerks and yea it was really nice sounding compared to the stock one I drove.

SW is the ticket ......ensure you have a car with a G motor which has all the bugs worked out. First n far to drive above 4K RPM's. Not a good Dad though. Good luck.

Then you'd have what F10 M5/ F80 M4 guys have a car that is instantly worth 20-50% of its value in 4-12 months and 4-20k miles lol.

I would much rather have strict sales, and watch as the american guys sell 40-50k units a year than deal with that lol

Thats a mixed bag because I have a lot of friends who would die for a GT3 at MSRP but they cant get into the allocation pool. These are good car enthusiasts but dont have the relationship or pedigree of buying previous P cars to get such an allocation.

On the flip side, for those choice few who do get these cars, they can literally drive the car for a year or even more and sell it for break even or even a gain. But that sampling is very limited and then that car is that much more pricey in the used arena for the "regular joes".

Im lucky enough to have access but I do think Porsche can produce more. But then again, they are the most profitable car manufacturer (per unit average).

Believe it or not they do have a constrained supply chain, they never carry excess inventory on parts which is a draw on cash with inventory sitting. They order based factory output, and it maximizes revenue. Also to your point Vic your spot on they look at GT cars as rewards to their top customers, and don't want to over supply. Hell I kept my GT3 for two years sold back -6k of what I paid so basically free, and I will only sell my RS for another RS to stay in the pool. Porsche always want to buy GT cars back.

I mean I'd love to get what I experienced in the 2013 GT3 for pennies, or for the a 2013 M5 or 2015 M3 goes for. But then it might ruin the greatness of the car to some degree, and just be another in a long line of good cares available to buy to the masses.

Thats a car I lost out on bid wise found one back in the day with clear bra 1 owner, 2k miles and dude wanted 10k more than sticker I offered 4k and he said no thanks I'll wait [this was mid fire issues too], and sold it for asking.

Thankfully I live in a market/ contact area where I could get them for the right price anytime, but I'm fine if they are forever out of reach for even us with the cash. Not everything needs to be attainable to everyone.
