The RKP front lip does not lower the M5’s ride height as it does not extend past the lowest point of the front bumper. If you are making contact with an object that means you are also hitting your factory bumper cover.

We also offer a clearbra option for the RKP lips to help protect the carbon fiber.

again, i am extremely impressed with the RKP lip, it is PERFECT fitment, and i am very very picky, if i was told it was an OEM part i'd believe them, the fit is THAT GOOD!! like i mentioned in my other post, i have an almost $2k vorsteiner lip on my x5m and that fitment wasn't anywhere close to how good this this RKP fits. nothing but great results from iND, customer service is top notch, products are amazing, nate please thank andrew and i still need to call him for an exhaust, still on the fence about which one though. also proper photos to follow, can i get some iND stickers to support you guys

Wouldn't this lip change the aero characteristics engineered by BMW?

Didn't they create the front splitters in a deliberate manner to enhance its aerodynamics?

Go back a page to p. 9. Apparently not, in fact improved aerodynamics but slightly, but barely noticeable, reduced cooling potential

just ordered my rkp front lip. cant wait to install it. anyone on here fitted their own or did you all take it to someone who knows what they are doing and get it up on the ramp? is it just a case of unscrew the existing bumper screws, clean it and stick and screw the new lip?

Unbelievably easy to install. Jack car up on one side. Unscrew (I think) five screws under front valance. Remove tape on lip. It slides into recess perfectly. Press lip firmly to assure proper adherence. Replace screws. Lower car. Lust on the new look.

New shots of the Frozen checkerboard weave. This is a special order weave with BMW Frozen clear to match the Frozen paint work.
