Well some one already beat me to it. But that is not 100% true.

Even one better then the M cars is formula one cars BMW developed. Going back to them BMW used turbo for its formula one cars. Just check out the video and some of the technology of this BMW racing turbo 4 cylinder formula one engine.

How about max of 1300 bhp power and 11, 500 rpm rev limiter. Not bad for FI BMW engine hug.....

These turbo engines were so good at making power that eventually they were banned by formula one due to excessive power.

Also, those formula one turbo engines sound great.
