OEM Brake Pad Options. Stock vs Optional Accessory “Sport Pads”

Hi all,

Just looking to gather some feedback on OEM brake pads. I am sourcing pads to use in a set of gold F8x CCB front calipers & I will be using the incoming M2 Competition 400mm rotors.

The M2 Competition uses the same 6 pot caliper as the F8x CCB but with 400mm iron rotors and part no: 34112284465 for the front pads which translates to the optional accessory “sport” pad that BMW offers for the F10 M5.

The cost of these pads is considerably more than the stock M5 pads, so looking to gather feedback as to whether or not they are worth the extra cash?

Stock = 34112284869
Sport = 34112284465
