DTC (soft) reset ?

My M5 DCT appears to be working fine, no real issues with anything, except I do feel it’s slipping the clutch a lot in D1 when driving slow, you know, parking lots etc, and it feels like it is slipping a lot more than what I’d expect when taking off from standstill I.e traffic lights etc.

On the E46 M3 SMG I had many years ago, I could do a “soft reset” by driving over 40kph/30mph place the gear knob in neural and pull both shift paddles for 5 seconds, then flick the knob back in gear.
This would reset user adaptations and the gearbox was fine for a long time.
I usually did this monthly.

My M5 is a =14 and is probably loaded with adaptive values from past owners, is there a similar reset for the DCT I can do?

I’m planning to have the whole car software updated in spring, along with a tune, but I won’t be doing that before April so I was looking for something that I could do in the meantime.

Thought I'd provide an update here.

A week ago I had the car in the shop, I had them do:
-Re-learn clutch bite point
-Re-learn all gears
-Cleared all adaptation from use

I think the gearbox is still learning but my impressions after a week is.

still slips om the clutch, but not as much as before.
it's not as jerky as before at taking off, used to be lots of clutch slipping and then my head got whacked into the headrest as it took off.
shifts are smooth and not a huge change from before.
Sometimes I hear a "clunk" when the car coasts and the clutch engages, so I think it still learning.

Overall I think this will continue to improve and something that was worth doing.
