thats advertising.
companies want to tout their highest figures. but bmw is modest so when a person thats used to getting in a GM with "400" hp thats really 300 and they believe 300 is 400 and then they drive a bimmer rated at 300 and they are like wtf. what bmw does with their numbers is: 1 part mind game & 1 part deliver |

About 10 years ago I was in Mexico and rented an -09 Mustang GT convertible with 300hp, at the time I had a BMW 325 with 193hp at home. I felt the Mustang to be a huge disappointment in the power department. So much so that I was thinking the rental company had restricted the car. |

This some % torque lost is shit. Think guys. You have same car. Another you have 400hp and other 300hp. When you takeoff 10% you ”have” 400hp crank and 360hp in wheels. But this 300hp 100% identical car you have 270hp in wheels. Where this 10hp go this 400hp car. 🤔🤔same trans same all. And 400hp car is 10hp less than the other??? This % is 110% bullshit!
