In theory that may work, but we'll have to
a) receive the lights back first
b) try to duplicate the conditions under which the product achieves the claimed issue
c) send back to the factory
d) receive replacement.

This isn't a $100 product, so it's not quite so simple as to say - sure we'll throw a part at the problem. Too often other issues could be the cause of it. So we've given the customer at least 4 ways to try to resolve it and it doesn't seem like any of them are tried or results are unsatisfactory.

We have not and will not deny any warranty replacement as long as the issues are replicated and we get the factory to support us. And even if we don't get the factory to support but we CAN replicate the issue, we'll send the customer a new light. Those procedures were outlined to the customer over the last 4 months.

What is the replacement policy? Do you require the customer to send back both lights first, then have your factory inspect and approve the replacement before sending the replacements to the customer (e.g. with refundable core charge)?

Even if it's gets foggy that's an issue nobody wants to go through , like you said it's not $100 item. We want perfect looking headlights that will work and last. I think you should rearrange your policy with your factory. We need to be sure we can get replacements and not get a run around for our money. They look amazing and I really want to get a set soon. But after seeing this thread and hearing what we have to go through if we run into issues I have second thoughts purchasing these. Sending them back and trying to replicate the problem and then ship back to factory is not going to take a couple of days .

That's kind of what I was getting at. I'm not sure if that is in fact their policy, but considering we have to recode to install/use these, re-installing OEM lights while we wait for replacements would be a gigantic issue. Especially if it requires international shipping for the return and for the replacements.

That being said, that may not in fact be the case. But, with a lack of long term use of these lights as of yet, it does create a bit of uncertainty.

I've had my lights for roughly 10 months. I had moisture in my headlights the first time I fired them up, I think it was the moisture in the glue burning off or something. Has not returned whatsoever...I LOVE THESE LIGHTS!!! NO ISSUES! I still stare at these lights every time I walk towards my car. Easily the best upgrade I've ever done on a car.

here they are next to my girls m3's....

Pre LCI Looks flat inside the lens.

The LCI Tails looks sharper and more modern.

The lines are sharper inside and more crisp on the LCI Tails.

The LCI Tail Lights for the F10 are a poor exercise in refreshment. On the E60 they looked vastly different. On the F10 you have to have a keen eye to know the differences. With that said I am still planning on upgrading to LCI Tail Lights one day, but I'll get the Euro style with the yellow Turn Signals for uniqueness.
