Thumbs up *** Boost/Torque by Gear (% Reduction) - New Map Configuration option - bootmod3 ***

Hey guys, this one's been in the works for some time and we're happy to release it with the 0.10.029 system update.

Many of you can attest to being very hard to effectively put down power even with a Stage 1 OTS map even after going with great tires and setting up suspension and alignment right. We've come up with a simple and easy to use way to help you reduce boost (torque) for any given gear so you can better put it down. 1st and 2nd gear are most often the ones that need some help but we've exposed gears 1-6 for it. Some may even use it to create a low boost map using it as a simple boost tuner

Update is up on bootmod3.net and the Android app store has the update. iOS version is in review as usual and hopefully live in the App Store in the next 24-72hrs.

Let us know if any questions at all

Awesome! Thank you so much for this feature. Is the 1st gear and 2nd gear reduction 60% and 40% the default and the best option for drag and rolll racing so from 40-60mph. Sorry hope my question made sense.

Has the OTS Stage 2 comes is there any sort of boost reduction involved alread in 2nd gear? Just wondering if I can turn the reduction down aslong as I have a setup to put the power down will it dig harder in 2nd then before?

With less boost it should produce less power so traction should be improved

those were just some values we chose to demo the screen. I'd start at maybe 40% down in 1st and 30 in 2nd and go from there. Traction will depend on your tires and pavement as well.

By default we don't do that really. We added this feature to put the power in your hands to dial it in if required for your specific setup. Your traction most likely suffers in 1st and 2nd on the street as pavement isn't ideal on your RWD S63tu with the OTS map so this should help dial it in almost always. The better the tires and weather the less reduction required.

So let’s say stock is around 20psi and you set it to 60% in first, with a max overall boost of 24psi.

What is your boost in first? 20psi because it can’t go below stock, 60% of 24psi or 60% of 20psi?

Do you only use the r888r’s on the rear, and what size are you using?
