Whistling and Howling over 90mph

Went on a nice trip this weekend over 450 miles and the car was a blast to drive. So comfortable on long trips and all the technology definitely helps.
Anyway, I noticed a whistling and howling today coming from the front of the car while cruising over 90mph. It was windy out today, and I have never noticed this before. Has anyone else ever noticed this noise, or maybe just from a windy day? Thoughts?

I only have about 500 miles on my car since I've picked it up, but I have noticed that the wind noise is much louder than I expected. I think it is louder than it was in my 2011 M3.

I'm hesitant to bring it in to the dealership for this because it is the equivalent of sending the tech on a snipe hunt.

I'll be interested to see what others have to say.

I've never had this issue, but I have read about it on other people's posts.

Here are some links which may help.

You can always try bypassing it and see what happens.

Wow, a lot of these threads point to the cabin air filter. May need to try replacing and recheck. Appreciate the threads and advice. Thanks.

I had this problem on a windy day in 550 and it was that the air vents where adjusted so that only the windshield defroster vents were partially open.
